19th Century Clay Figure of a Fisherman.
Traditional clay sculpture from the southern Chinese province of Kwantung. Seated on a glazed log, his outstreached right hand would have held a bamboo fishing rod. The bottom of the figure shows the finger prints of the sculptor. 3 1/2" high. The price is $600.
